Earlier this year, PowerArchiver 2021 for MacOS was updated to version 1.00.32.
This update addresses registration and crashing issues on BigSur 11.1 operating systems.

The previous update to 1.00.31 addressed two more issues found and solved since the previous release of PowerArchiver 2021 for MacOS.

Here are the details:

• Extracting RAR4 archives -Previous version was not able to extract RAR4 archives properly. This has now been fixed and RAR4 archives are properly extracted.
• Password Policies text in Encrypt window – Password policies section shown in the password entrance dialog is not meant to be configurable in that window, as it is meant to display those settings which can be configured in the Configuration menu that was added in the previous version of PowerArchiver 2021 for MacOS.

Here are the details:

• Fixed registration issues – a few customers reported registration issues with the previous version of PowerArchiver 2021 for MacOS. Our dev team was able to locate the problem and the issue is now fixed.
• Configuration Menu – In this version, we have added the Configuration section and you will find it in the Options menu. The Configuration section contains the ability to set associations and associate files with PowerArchiver, as well as a Security tab. In the Security tab, you may configure Password Policies, Password Profiles as well as keep track and settings of the Saved and Not Saved passwords to encrypted files you work with.

Over the past 10+ years, we have been asked by our loyal users which switched platforms, to creates a version of PowerArchiver for macOS, and it’s finally here!

PowerArchiver 2020 for macOS will become a fully fledged member of the PowerArchiver family. From the start, PowerArchiver for macOS will have many of the usual and important PowerArchiver features such as support for wide variety of formats and the multi-extract tool.

Here is a list of currently implemented features:

PowerArchiver 2019 Preview releases have been available to our users since late December, and we are now up to 19.00.47 release. Today’s release is now officially Release Candidate 1, with a host of multiple improvements over PowerArchiver 2018.

In 2017 we have introduced the best compression format on the market today – Advanced Codec Pack (.pa), and in 2018, we went back to the basics and thoroughly optimized PowerArchiver to provide the fastest experience ever.
For 2019, we are focusing on adding advanced features, making PowerArchiver 2019 the smartest release ever!

Modern Win10 – Simplified Ribbon UI

Most of our users have always used PowerArchiver due to the advanced interface features and great design and therefore, for the 2019 version, we are bringing our version of the Simplified Ribbon based on Microsoft Office 2019. Simplified Ribbon UI bridges the gap between Classic toolbar that has been around for 25 years, and Ribbon UI that has been in PowerArchiver for last 10 years. It has less buttons so you can concentrate on important features and yet it still features tabs so there is no need for classic menus. As an added benefit – it looks awesome while convenient to use. We have also added an application navigation bar in Windows 10 style to the left side of PowerArchiver, so that all of our features are easily accessible – and in classic PowerArchiver tradition, if you do not like it – you can turn it off! You will also notice a redesigned File menu to the left of the home tab in the W10 interface. It has been redesigned to look great, fit in with the Ribbon interface and offer access to various file management functions that PowerArchiver has to offer. Everything is beautifully skinned too and several skins of different looks are available from the start.

SmartAI – Intelligent decision making

As you might have noticed, everything around us is becoming more intelligent. Why not PowerArchiver? We have added your new PowerArchiver assistant called SmartAI. SmartAI has several important features:

Added faster ZIP modes and mp3 support in zipx

Last year we have added the strongest yet fastest ZIP engine on the market. This year we are adding a new engine that is optimized for speed specifically and is used for Fast and Super Fast compression strength. It also uses multiple cores/threads and works on byte level. It can provide 2x faster compression than before! Added packmp3 support for ZIP engine, to make it fully compatible with WinZip.

PowerArchiver Mini is back

PowerArchiver Mini has returned for 2019! PowerArchiver Mini is our Windows Explorer Preview feature where you can work directly from Windows Explorer Preview window (make sure you turn it on). Not only does it show the file list of a selected archive, you can also browse folders, open individual files and extract them with one of the available options. It is super easy to use and very intuitive. We are also adding Explorer tooltips that will show information about the archive and a summary of the files inside as a tooltip when you hover over an archive in Windows Explorer.

Private Mode option

New Private Mode feature that clears the PowerArchiver history and cleans the temp folder with US DoD 5220.22-M approved methods.

Grazie alle ottimizzazioni e all’utilizzo di Microsoft Windows Ribbon Framewor, l’ opzione moderna interfaccia utente è tornata! Nel 2017 abbiamo dovuto rimuovere l’opzione moderna interfaccia utente a causa della nuova versione 64 bit che ha reso tutto un po’ più lento, e PA caricherà semplicemente troppo lento sui vecchi computer. Grazie alle ottimizzazioni e all’utilizzo del Framework ufficiale di Microsoft Windows Ribbon, la velocità di avvio è stata ottimizzata e ora inizia alla velocità di 1 secondo .Abbiamo anche aggiunto bellissimo nuovo icon pack da utilizzare con l’interfaccia utente moderna. Moderna interfaccia utente si adatta alla versione di Windows che hai, quindi apparirà diversa su Windows 7 e Windows 10.

Interfaccia utente classica ottimizzata con supporto skin completo

L’opzione predefinita è ancora UI classica , ma ora è stata completamente rielaborata per il 2018. Tutte le nuove UI classiche sono semplificate e ottimizzate per la massima velocità di avvio, oltre a un utilizzo minimo della memoria. Ottimizzazioni di velocità fatto PowerArchiver 2018 il più veloce PowerArchiver nella storia è 3 volte più veloce di PowerArchiver 2016 e 2017, e anche più veloce di vecchie versioni come 2009.Si noterà la differenza quando si avvia PowerArchiver, ora carica più veloce di 1s sui computer moderni (il piùveloce che abbiamo misurato era 0,5 s). Come il risultato di ottimizzazioni, anche le operazioni di Shell sono più veloci (0.3 s) e ci vuole anche 2x meno RAM quando in uso. Se siete annoiati di interfaccia classica, è possibile utilizzare il nostronuovo sistema di scuoiatura per ottenere tutto lo sguardo nero, ufficio scuro/bianco o uno qualsiasi dei nostri 10 + skin disponibili che aggiungono un po’ di colore per l’interfaccia classica. Esistono anche 3 opzioni per le icone della barra degli strumenti che possono essere modificate indipendentemente dalle interfacce. Altre skin sono mostrate sul nostrosito web delle skin qui.

Nuovo motore ZIP, più potente con supporto core / thread illimitato

compressione zip più potente possibile supportata dagli strumenti zip Windows 7/8/10 ufficiali (codificatore standard deflate). Fino al 7% -8% di compressione migliore rispetto a prima, mantenendo la piena compatibilità con ogni singola utility ZIP sul mercato. Il nuovo motore utilizzerà tutti i thread della cpu disponibili ed è multi-core threaded by block, non file, quindi anche il singolo file verrà velocizzato considerevolmente. In questo modo è possibile raggiungere la massima velocità con i nuovi processori da 16-24 thread . Il motore precedente è ora ai livelli di velocità Fast and Fastest, con velocità anche migliorata fino a 2x su file di grandi dimensioni. Rispetto alla concorrenza, è più veloce di WinZIP a livelli di compressione simili e molto più forte di WinRAR.
