After few weeks of internal beta testing, here is <strong>PACL 7.00 Release Candidate 1 (RC1)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Here is the list of changes:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.powerarchiver.com\/2012\/03\/21\/powerarchiver-command-line-pacl-7-0-rc1\/pacl6\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1828\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.powerarchiver.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/pacl6-300x151.png\" alt=\"PACL 7 RC1\" title=\"PACL 7 RC1\" width=\"300\" height=\"151\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1828\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<strong>PACL 7.0 Changes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Added XZ, LZMA support<\/strong> &#8211; Support for creating and extracting XZ and LZMA files\/archives<\/li>\n<li><strong>Added new extraction formats <\/strong> -Support for extracting XZ, WIM, CPIO, LZMA, RPM, DEB, CHM, HXS, SWM, DMG, XAR, HFS, NTFS, FAT, VHD, MBR, ISO, MSI files<\/li>\n<li><strong>Updated engines<\/strong> &#8211; All compression and extraction engines have been updated, added full multicore support for ZIP format.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Added FIPS 140-2 support<\/strong> &#8211; Added support for FIPS 140-2 mode when compressing and extracting ZIP AES archives.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Added support for decrypting ZIP files with certificates<\/strong> &#8211; Support is added to decrypt\/extract files that are encrypted with SecureZip x.509 certificates.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Added Volume Shadow Copy support<\/strong> &#8211; You can now use Volume Shadow Copy (VSS) to compress files in use by system or other programs.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Added support for saving disk drive volumes in archive path<\/strong> &#8211; with PP switch you can save share or drive letter in path<\/li>\n<li><strong>PASPAN has unlimited size support<\/strong> &#8211; PASPAN now can split unlimited size ZIP archives<\/li>\n<li><strong>Other improvements, tweaks, fixes<\/strong> &#8211; Over 20 improvements implemented.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><BR><\/p>\n<p>Please download the update from our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.powerarchiver.com\/download\/\" target=\"_blank\">download site.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear users, Time has come for full update of PACL (PowerArchiver Command Line) to new features introduced in PowerArchiver 2011.
