firfox and powerarchive fault

if you download say a zip or cab with pa and then open the file by firefox dialog that sayes doo you wnat to open it then pa opens it twice .

two instances of the file are open

I assume you mean:-
"Cab files are associated with PA, click on a Cab link in firefox and a dialogue opens asking if you want to save or open (in PA).
Selecting open in PA - then pa opens it twice."

If so, I have tried (with cab file) and cannot reproduce this problem - works fine for me.

Note: I am using Firefox 1.5 beta:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b5) Gecko/20051006 Firefox/1.4.1 with only 1 extension - TabMix Plus.

To eliminate possible website problems. try with the zip file from
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.o...st-mozilla1.8/
