Exclamation Unmounting ISO from navigation pane is impossible

After the unmounting dialog I get this error message

The ISO is not in use or locked by any other application.
The only way to unmount it is to track back it's folder and press unmount... on the file itself and it's VERY uncomfortable.

Of course not, on all image files.
"Mount on Mount" unmounts the previous image file but as expected mounts the new one with same problem.

BTW I'm trialing v13.01.04 Pro

Hello,

You are referring to getting a "device busy" dialog when specifically right clicking on the virtual drive letter in Windows Explorer and selecting the "unmount" option?

Please try clicking on another file and using the "unmount" option, like a file on the desktop for exacmple. You will still get the unmount option, which should work fine.

Let us know.

Thanks!

Yes you are correct right-clicking on any file or folder will open up an unmount shellex -> unmount diaglog

4 suggestion/wishes:

1)It's very much not straight forward
2)Why using a dialog when only 1 image file is mounted ?
3)How/can I mount multiple image files ?
4)How can I edit/create an image file ?

All 4 are available in a "dedicated" image file software like MagicISO

Hello,

Another easy way to unmount VD's is to right click on the PA Starter located in your system tray, that will also give you the unmount option. Easy to right click there and unmount, without having to be in a folder or right clicking a file.

You can mount multiple image files by simply mounting one after another.
Also, you can create ISO files using PowerArchiver as well. Simply use the ISO builder by clicking the "New Disc Image" button in the burner menu.

Hope that helps

Thanks!

Also,
If you go to Options>Configuration>Miscellaneous, you will see an option where you can enter the number of Virtual Drives you would like. Located on the top right side of the Miscellaneous Tab.

Thanks!

Well it cannot edit ISO images (remove/add files & folders to an existing image file), determine/make them bootable,non-bootable and create multi-boot image file and probably some more features like ...

If we are talking about a "swissknife software" sharpen this edge could be nice

there was a new wish in wishlist section about editing ISOs... keep in mind that PA is only archiver right now that can make iso files...
