Exclamation PA 2010 - latest version CAB setup issues.

Hi I have lastest version PA intalled Cab support after refresh it. The program won reload. Even On windows 7 64bit and new windows8 If you don't used version from 2007 then it would work. But I can't upgrade from 2007 on new windows 8. When I installed 2010 or newest one. PA 2012 doesn't work with cab support for windows setup. I get error on it. Please fix it asp thank you.

Yes that correct no matter what I do. I need 2007 PA work on windows 8 to get PA 2012 work right way but Since that not that case. When I compress the cab support right way the click setup.exe let stay creative drivers on titanium driver set I make for mods tune up bass treble ect.. I get error after I updated the cab after compressing it.

robert, you need to slow down a bit so we can understand :-).

Let me know of an example setup and what you do to it, so we can test internally here for one of the next releases...

Extract the cab support from creative then I rebuild the compress for creative cab and when I click setup.exe in main driver set I get error in the driver because I don't have 2007 installed but I have installed on windows 7 it works fine but not on 8. this my driver set you can test cab extracting and rebuild click on setup.exe in file > http://dl.technewshw.com/driver/PAX/...k%20Edition.7z I got permission from creative long ago do driver mods right way .

Thanks When you extract and re compress the cab support the setup.exe wouldn't work with out 2007 PA. Please don't installed 2007 used the newest one. Then you can see that the setup.exe wouldn't work after you recompress the cab support on it. Using windows 8 pro 64bit. It works fine on windows 7 64 bit because I used 2007 PA to installed on top 2012 PA then it would prefect.

When you click the setup.exe in set you get error setup code. If not I have used old xp and my usb flash drive do files that way from now on to you guys patch it.

did you try copying cabinet.dll from PA 2007 to PA 2012? It should make it work actually, if the problem is with Microsoft's dll.

Robert,

I tried opening Data1 cab with PA and 4-5 other tools, including Windows own, and it doesnt work. Is this what you are talking about?

Ya Or support cab . When you recompress it the main setup.exe won't open there be an error in it. If you have Titanium sound card from creative you can test the support cab with my drivers see what I was talking about. On windows 7 it works fine just having issue with windows 8 pro x64. Because 2007 doesn't installed on windows 8 pro. If you see the support cab in my driver folder you extract it and recompress it to updated the cab the setup won't launch after you do the re compressing it. That issue on windows 8 pro 64bit.

Test the support cab file for me when you click setup on it. You have creative titanium sound card? or any Creative cards let me know. I'll posted my driver mod set for you. I have dual boot to 7 now because of the cab compress issue on windows 8 pro 64bit.
