Please add support for PKZIP archives

hello PA Staff,
I'm user of PA Standard version & i'll very happy if power archiver can open & edit PKZip archives, because now a days many games archives are made with PKZip & have to install Pkzip for it...I uses power archiver since about 4-5 years so i don't like any other archiving utilities....so please try to add support for PkZIP...
Thank you....

Yes please because I've accessed pkzip archives in particular with non problems. Are you referring to features or as a gamer wanting to compress to pkzip.? Please explain.

ok,
let me explained something,
lots of game's archives which contains xml files and other data are made with pkzip and sometimes they have .pack extansion or no extension...but they all have common signature like

PK........YeI:................Awards/PK...........9...(............

all that archives are started with PK signature when open them in hex editor..

some of them are open and edit in Power Archiver but not all of them...this kind of problem i've faced in arc archives before...in which some of them can open in PA but not all of them......

so PKZIP and ZIP archives are different.....

you need to send us an example of such archives, PKZIP creates only zip archives, but maybe the method of compression is different.

most likely it is not pkzip creating these, and it has nothing to do with pkzip, as it is standard compliant.

in any case, send us one of files and we will know better whats goin on.

just to confirm, PK is marker for any zip file... it doesnt mean it was created with pkzip... PowerArchiver creates zip files that start with PK (and every other utility).
