SFX SlideZipOffset error
Getting SlideZipOffset error when i try to convert a 7zip archive to .exe.
Using latest PA 2012. Archive was created using Optimized compression, Ultra, Solid archive. |

I noticed the SFX Wizard (new .exe creation) doesn't support solid archives (thus much larger)...possibly a related issue? 7-zip created the solid archive .exe without issue, and I also did not have any issues with PA 2011.

are you sure it is not something due to permissions, etc? Try running PA as admin and then same conversion?

Same problem when running as Admin, although it did take longer to fail
. I performed the exact same compression/exe creation successfully using PA 2011 before the upgrade.

Quote:
as to the solid option, we should add a checkbox with it in next release... it really should have nothing to do with any feature.
