Encryption
Is using the PAE format the strongest/best for encryption?
I was wondering what makes it any better? Also does PAE support the FIPS 140.2 certification, or is that just for the ZIP AES? |

Err, not sure about PAE but WinZip AES isn't certified - http://kb.winzip.com/kb/entry/65/
However, PA 12 does claim both FIPS 140.2 and HIPPA compliance.

ZIP AES is FIPS 140-2 certified. There is no difference in encryption strength when it comes to AES, it is always same AES standard.
