Converter does not know if files are encrypted or not. It is not that simple. Plus it could never possibly know the password of the file, so it would require input on each file.

bit confused

I may well simply not understand.

However, PA has to know that it is encrypted since it asks me for the password before it can convert the file.

And, since it already "has" the password (I had to enter it) why couldn't it use that password when creating the converted archive?

Earlier spywolf sent me an RC1 (5-6 days) ago. It was not fixed in that version.

Is this one different?

Is this available via patchbeam, or should I manually download it? Or is PB version close? (Manual install loses a number of settings.)

Or did you want me to check it for you before it goes to PB?

last issue spoken about in this thread is the loss of encryption when converting an archive, so common sense should say that it is that issue which Mili is referring to.
Works fine for me with this .23

This is new version PA 2012 RC1 13.00.24:

Now explicit SSL works on Our server (which is different server software), so please check with yours!
