There is a difference between "should" and "Is".

I have downloaded windows 8 and created a virtual drive to install it on.

But I have no more time left till october.. hopefully, someone here would of given it a go.

To be honest, im not really that bothered about windows 8 from what i know it is a copy of 7 but with more features and system changes for Touch Screen tablets etc..

the odd desktop and login screen change, something they always do on every new version thus to give a user the feeling that its new and fresh.

I am very happy with Windows 7 much better than vista and xp.. so i cant see me moving onto 8.

I'm of a similar opinion Richard...more than happy with Windows 7 but I will of course endeavor to test Windows 8...what's the setup behind the virtual drive option Richard ?

Glad someone agrees with me!

Reference the Virtual Drive, i have given VirtualBox a go http://www.virtualbox.org/.

This creates like a sandbox enviroment apparently, you create a virtual drive, then on start it ask for the ISO install file then it would install as you would via boot.

give it a go!

Have read anything there is to know about W8. Will definitely go to 8.

7 = vista R2
8 = 7 on red bull.

Have you seen the W8 on the go? Windows on a USB stick.
