puppy linux

yesterday i tried a linux version called puppy linux i was surprised for linux its fast and i can tell you no bugs so far compared to windows.

Never tried puppy linux as yet.
Might be worth me having a copy on standby as a replacement for Knoppix which I use at times for getting into friends computers when they have hit problems (usually by their own doing) with their windows installations.

Will still keep Linux Mint on an old salvaged desktop though as that is ideal for my wife's uses. To be honest she prefers it to windows.

Linux is free and also has a lot of free software, but that doesn't mean that it's the best platform for all users. If you use your computer for playing games, then Windows is a much better platform.
