Burn Option

each time I try to use the 'Burn' option the 'add files' window starts minimized for me on the taskbar and it takes me several attempts before I can get it into the foreground...
anyone else having this problem?

I realise now that it's 'hanging' before coming into the foreground...unusual to hang on my system especially with no other programs running or is it PA 'enumerating' the drives ?

what kind of media do you have inside? what happens if you do it without media present?

tested with blank dvd and also with blank cd and tested without media present...takes between 15 - 20 seconds before it will appear in the foreground with the option to burn

the 'slowness' occurs after I've clicked on the 'Burn' button...tested it again and it took 23 seconds before the add files option appears.

when I click the burn button it shows the box immediately on the taskbar but refuses to open until the time elapses.

i dont think it has anything to do with how fast the system is, probably combination of dvd drive and media and burner.

we got two reports of this in the same week, and never got it before. It should be exactly the same as in PA 2009.

I will get some info on how to turn on debugging tomorrow so you can send over the logs.
