Batch Archiving

I would like to be able to create a .pbs which would run a batch archive process. What I mean by that is that I would like to be able to archive a number of folders/files to a DVD so that they were in individual archives. At the moment I can run a .pbs which backs up a number of folders and files but puts them in a single archive.
