Batch Archiving

Up to the present I have used a pbs which backed up a number of files and folders to my DVD in one go. This was great, however the backed up files appear all together on the DVD. I decided to try the Batch Archiver, which backed up folders and files into their own archives, which was exactly what I wanted.

Do I have to go through the batch archiver process every time I want to backup in individual archives or can I create a script which I can place as a shortcut icon on my desktop?
