Virtual Drive viable alternative to Daemon Tools?

Hi all,

Long time user of Powerarchiver and currently considering upgrading to the new 2009 Pro vesion.

Most of the new features in the Pro version are of little use to me other than Perhaps the Virtual Drive option.
I've been using Daemon Tools for MANY years. I don't use it to play any games that need to emulate copy protections. Will Virtual Drive be a viable alternative for me? Is it already stable enough to replace Daemon Tools as of now or should I wait?

Thanks in advance!

No, I dont think it is viable alternative to Daemon tools if you need anything else but ISO support.

Virtual Drive supports ISO only, and it that case, it will work fine, since technology behind the tools is actually the same.

Also, at this point, DT is easier to use as well.

Of course, we plan to add to current features, but if you are buying PA 2009 Pro just for Virtual Drive, I dont think that right now, it is worth it.

If you are buying an upgrade, it is actually an good deal, no matter what (and it wont run forever) :-).
