I have found a bad typo in PA 2009 Beta 1:


Forschaufenster -> Vorschaufenster

---------------------------------------------------

And some word (order) suggestions:


Neu Archiv -> Neues Archiv

Öffnen Archiv -> Öffne Archiv or Archiv öffnen

Verschlüsseln Datei -> Datei verschlüsseln

Konvertieren Archiv -> Archiv konvertieren

Interface -> Oberfäche (if you translate all words into german, why not interface?)

Clear History -> Verlauf löschen

And please, clearify "Windows benutzen" -> i know, i use Windows ^^

I too have discovered a huge amount of translation errors in PA 2009 Beta 2. It's such a disgrace, for example:

"Bitte wählen Sie Ihr beliebtes Interface" which should be "Bitte wählen Sie Ihr bevorzugtes Interface" or even better "... Ihre bevorzugte Programmoberfläche".

"Bitte wählen Sie Format, den Sie mit PowerArchiver verknüpfen möchten" which definetely should be "Bitte wählen Sie die Formate, welche Sie..." or even better "Bitte wählen Sie die Dateierweiterungen, welche Sie mit PowerArchiver verknüpfen möchten".

I could go on forever with examples like this, e.g. the help files are simply packed with translation errors.

Good to see the user's heard.

In the backup options pane, I've found some more:



-> "Backup-Typ:" = remove the colon at the end. Btw: the according tab is called "Kompression und Verschlüsselung", so the two descriptions don't match as the other menu entries tend to
-> "Endgültig" = makes no sense, so change it to something like "Zusammenfassung". Btw: the category names in "Endgültig" don't really match the options that are displayed in the options tree menu
-> "Zeit und Größefilter" should be "Zeit- und Größenfilter"
-> "Taskplanung-Optionen" should be "Taskplanungs-Optionen"
-> This windows tells me to click on "Erstellen" but there is no such button:



-> But there is one button that might start the backup. Unfortunately, the button text floats outside the button.
-> Here we have another example of too much text:

Now some translation errors concerning the windows für "Multi Entpacken":

-> In Powerarchivers ribbon, the option is called "Multi Entpacken" without a hyphen. In the option's window the option is called "Multi-Entpacken" with a hyphen.
-> Below the windows title, there is a short description for this utility that calls "Multi-Entpacken" suddenly "Mehrfachentpacken". I suggest, you go for one consistent description.
-> The commentary says "Entpacken Sie Mehrfacharchiver gleichzeitig" which makes no sense. This should be something like "Entpacken Sie mehrere Archive gleichzeitig"
-> You can select the target, where the archive is extracted to. One is called "Entpacken in Datei/Ordner" but I don't know if it's correct to show an option that lets me decompress an archive into a file!?
