Filename problem "3 0 0 .part001"

I don't know if this is a double post. But I couldn't find the old one.

Pa cannot extract a filename with he following name:

3 0 0 .part001

You get a permission error.

You will get this error with every archive that has space before dot and extensions. You cannot create a directory with space on the end. The same error gives any other archive utility.

The right click on the rar file should work.

You mean you dont get right click menus at all?

I think first thing to check is to go Options and click on set default. That should reset it.

thanks.

To resolve this problem, when you create a folder from the name and this has a space in the end, WinRAR automatically replaces the space at the end with a "_"
