Adding empty folders

hallo,
i'm using PACL to compress my php-software. i recently recognized that it is not adding empty subfolders, which is very important to me because i need this folders for user-uploads. the folders will not be shown in powerarchiver's explorer-view. i use this command:

D:\PACL\pacomp -a -r -p target.zip "source-folder\*"

is there any way to add empty folders with PACL? in fact, powerarchiver itself does it well, so is it possible to call powerarchiver by command line for packing those files?

Maybe using a PowerArchiver Backup (pbs) script?
