Tar of long filenames
PACOMP 400b1 has similar problems with long filenames in TAR compression as PA9.01
see http://www.powerarchiver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=71 Test result attached - when 3 text files were compressed

Although PACL and PA use completelty different TAR/GZIP engines, currently both of them do not support long filenames in TAR archives (even extended POSIX, nor GNU TAR standard).
As in same PA post - PA v9.1 will be (hopefully) the first one that will support this.

Definetelly not for 4.0.
We shall see later - currenty PACL is very usefull because it doesn't need any DLLs to work with most archives. If we shall do on some big engine changes then probably we should have to distribute DLLs for some formats and then it becames more complicated for users who use PACL in their own programs for some operations.
