Serious 7-ZIP drag & drop bug in 9.61.03

Dragging and dropping a file/folder into an empty PA window, and selecting 7-ZIP compression, produces a SPLIT archive, each part 1.36 MB in size!!
After the compression is complete, the PA window is blank, but the filename appears in the title bar (xxxx.7z.001).
The archive still functions properly.

...Once again, PA takes forever to cancel the operation (even on non ultra), and the archive that was supposed to be deleted, when cancelling, is not deleted...
