Ok, whats the point in buying a "Game Console" when it is starting to look, feel and act like a Tablet?
i mean word?? come on! put the research and development team on improving it's user interface, make it faster to load, save and run high spec games. Not frack about making it do presentations... if i want a game console PS3 Beats Xbox and Nintendo. The sony PS3 has the best graphics card with higher resolution compared to XBOX. The only thing the Xbox has in its favour is a unique Operating system and kinnet which is certainly the flagship of controller free gaming. Nintendo wont go near either party for high spec gaming they will keep it for excersise and brain teasers. What i do know.. is that microsoft is in discussions with Panasonic, Sony and Samsung about intergrating the Kinnectic camera system and skype onto their televisions. This means remote control free interface, voice activation and the ability to control your tv, browse channels all with your hands or voice. Now thats what i want for TV. For gaming.. i want pure power and graphics.

![]() Strange choice. What I want from games is gameplay and that is what Nintendo are best at. ![]() As for power and graphics, if the rumours are true then the WiiU is more powerful than any other system out there. But I've no knowledge of it's final specs hence my comment about rumours.

Yes i know about the wii u tablet being a controller and the other features it has. :O) i had a demonstration of it at a tech show.
And.. its a clever piece of kit without a doubt. Gameplay is obvisoly very important! but i take that as standard.. i wouldnt buy a game if it didnt offer me enjobable gameplay! buts the graphics and sound add to that gameplay. Nintendo games look to old fashioned and arcady.. although some of the shooting games are fun to play. Of course the wii u will be more powerfull its newer than both xbox and ps3. Wait until Sony and Microsoft get wind of the real specs and final public model. Then they up theirs and once again dominate the market. As is alway's the case with this industry.

It's true, Facts are PS3 and XBOX support up to 1080p. The nintendo supports up to 480p/i!
Thats one of the reasons i purchased the nintendo wii because i fancied that feel and fun of the arcade! they even advertise that and specify on multiple sites that its perfect for arcade SEGA game stype feeling standing and shooting zombies. Not to mention mario brother games which i love. That was something the playstation and xbox at the time and to some part now just dont deliver. The PS3 and Xbox at the time took games to seriosly. Nintendo changed all that! and It isnt until recently that nintendo has opened the market for more games such as COD and more EA, activition games that you could only get on xbox or ps3. But compare them side by side and i have and you can tell the different both in audio and graphics on a 1080p TV with a Optical Surround Sound System. Does that mean the nintendo is rubbish?? god no. they never intended to make the wii a top end console they wanted it to be an affordable game console with games that enabled the player without knowlege to excersise and not sit on their bum all the time hense perfect for families and people who dont have time or money to goto the gym. That was what they stated in many of their public speaches, The wii u follows pace but higher end spcs and more upgradability. I look forward to it's release and see what the real deal is. I might even buy it, but until i here my friends, family and work mates going on about how good it is it wont really interest me as a personal purchase. However, my mrs loves all things nintendo including her 3DS.. So who knows.

I am saying that i enjoy two types of games which nintento and PS3 have.
For good old fashioned arcady feeling the nintendo wins hands down. But for high detail graphics and enjoyable movie like feel to games the PS3 wins. yes gameplay is important 1st thing that should be set. But like i said. Good graphics and decent sound can add to that game play and enhance the feeling the gamer has further. If crysis 3 came out on PS3 and Nintendo Wii although the game is the same the gameplay would be far more enjoyable on the PS3!! Because the detail would be allot higher, the audio would be clearer because of the audio chipset supported and that would immerse the user far more than the nintendo if they had equipment that supported it. If you have a small tv and no surround sound system then it wouldnt matter if you had the nintendo as you wouldnt notice a difference. There are games that i love on the nintendo which just dont feel rite on the PS3. But certain games like COD that feel better and more enjoyable on the PS3 as the detail and sound is better. Gameplay isnt just the "game" it's how the user interacts and play's it and certain tech and enviroments can boost the users interaction and make it far more enjoyable.

I still drag out my old Amiga for a game on that as they have gameplay which has stood the test of time. Not movie like graphics & sound which will be forgotten by the next release of yet another fps.

i broke my amiga playing so hard! there have been some great games in the past. its only in the last year nintendo and sony have started to make them available online to download.
Graphics dont make a game no.. but they immerse you further into it and so does sound. As long as the game has a good platform it will pay for itself, if they add more detail and sound it can make it more enjoyable. so in one aspect sound and picture doesnt effect gameplay. but i deffinetly think it significantly adds to the feeling and can enhance the enjoyment further. its a bit like watching a bluray at home it could be a great move!!! top notch acting and detail but its some how far better when watching it at the pictures with a hugh screen and 7.1 surround sound. ![]() i recently went to watch star wars at the pictures.. now i have the bluray at home and have watched it many times before and enjoyed it each time.. but when we watched it in 3D in full surround sound it just felt rite! there were parts in the movie that felt so realistic it caused emotional reactions.. If graphics and sound wernt a major part of gameplay then game developers would have never moved forward from two green dots bobbing from one side to another to 3D hand free voice activated game stations.. so its proof in the pudding.

ahhh your not a star war's fan..
Well the point is still there, think of a movie you really enjoy, sit and watch it at home then goto the cinema or a friend who has a decent cinema system and watch it. Then tell us it was exactly the same experience and doesnt feel more enjoyable. Because if thats the case we can save ourselves a fortune and go back to black and white TV as its the same experience after all.

you are a difficult one arnt you! lol.
Ok, i love music too! So play your favourite music on a single cheap speaker or even just your TV.. Then play the same music on a stereo surround sound or something similar to a bose surround sound 5.1 or 7.1 system. Then tell us the experience was no more enjoyable.
