Is this possible for PACL

I have a .tar files that having a directory structure inside - <tarname>.tar/home/dir1/dir2/dir3/<tarname>/ . At the <tarname> folder there also a number of folders and each folders are containing 4-80 tif files. Those tif files are having the same names that is why they are divided by folders. My question is, Is that possible for PACL to extract those tar files excluding /home/dir1/dir2/dir3/ but maintaining the the full path structure of <tarname> folder?

In short, I want to extract <tarname>.tar in full path but I want to exclude /home/dir1/dir2/dir3/. How can I do that using PACL?

Please advise.

Thanks.

If I understand correctly, the answer is NO.
You can only extract with "No path" or with "Full Path" (based on the path stored in the archive).

If you do not need/want the /home/dir1/dir2/dir3/
path then could you store only from (tarname) with relative paths?
