Powerarchiver hangs for 5-6 seconds when pressing the "Extract" button
Hello,
When I open an archive and press the "Extract" button, PowerArchiver just hangs for 5-6 seconds before showing me the file directory tree. I tried changing the settings so it'll always point to my "My Documents" settings, but this also causes the software to hang. It happens for every archive, regardless of size. I'm using Windows 7 64Bit with PowerArchiver version 13.03.02 Any ideas why this is happening? |

Just tested it on a very slop computer and the extract dialog appears in a one second approximately.
Is there an Anti Virus application that may be slowing it down? Or a network location that takes time to read upon opening the extract/browse dialog? |

I do have an anti-virus (NOD32) but I've switched it off; Still, it takes 5-6 seconds. I'm not connected to any network.
I tried installing different compression utilities, but the slowness seems to affect only PowerArchiver. Is there some debug log I can look at / send you for analysis? |

Quote:
Even AV shouldnt be slowing it down, there is no reason for it - but additionally, disabling AV wont actually disable AV, it continues working in the bg, you gotta uninstall it quickly and check (and of course install again). Try setting some simple folder to be default and see what happens then. Something like C:\test.
