Post ZTE alpha testing applications!

Hello Everyone,

We are currently working on ZTE - Zip To Email, separate application for Outlook and Email file/archive sending, without need for PA itself. Original name was Zip And Email, but hmhph, we were apparently slow :-).

Main idea of ZTE:
- simplify process of emailing large archives
- completely independent
- provide various options not available in PAOP
- Have advanced options - make it PowerArchiver of Emailing attachments world - in both intuitive interface and wealth of options.

So we need people who use Outlook, from Outlook 2000 to Outlook 2010, 32bit or 64bit, WinXp to Win7/S2008.

Let us know in this thread if you are willing to do some tests and what version of Windows and Outlook you have.

thanks!

I am a heavy Outlook User at work and home, I email a range of file types such as Database Extracts, Excel's, word, powerpoint, txt files etc etc.

Would be interested if those suggestions i put across sometime ago are within this Zip2Mail version.

Please add me to the testing team! i am keen to get this started ASAP as i am working on several projects at Brakes Group and this will be a wonderfull peace of kit to try out.

Work Version Office 2003 SP3
Home Version Office 2010

Would be nice to have PA on multiple platforms. But i have used practically every email client and it just doesnt touch Outlook within a business enviroment. Lotus Notes comes close but that too is very heavy on resource "packed with features" but outlook wins.

If you just use email for simple communications and the odd attachement then Thunderbird or Pegasus is great!! its free, simple and doesnt hit your resources.

But I couldnt imagine doing half of the work i do day to day with those alternative cleints.

well it will zip anything from shell, just like PA, and launch default client...

so it will work with Tbird or Pegasus, it just wont have unique plugin.

If still looking for testers, I can test it on a W7 *64 PC, with Outlook 2010 *32 installed.
Thanks.

Hi, did not get the email through and did not see W8 update. Will test on W8 now for you the installer 120202, and update the results in the correct post.
