That has got to be the lamest excuse I have ever heard. If they are spammers then why not close their account and deny them access? Your response implies that you know who is and isn't a spammer so why not just stop them? What if my email address or other profile info changes and I no longer have access to the email address used here? There is no way for me to update it? Then what's the use of even creating a user profile in the first place?
