Error in particular zip file

Hi,

I invariably get an error (CRC) when trying to unzip the file from http://launcher.nirsoft.net/download.html. The latest one (filename ending in '02') had the error.

I always have to repair them before I can extract the contents without any errors. The author has been quite on the issue and you guys can shed any light on this. The is the ONLY file that gives an error when unzipping.

It would be nice to tell the developer that it is NOT PA's fault but his.

Chrome doesnt even let me download the file, tells me it is malicious... I will try in another browser, but it seems they have bigger fish to fry :-)

IE is blocking the file too... what did you download it with? I am assuming it is safe of course?

The file is 110% safe. I use firefox without any problems. If you have further problems, I am more than happy to d/l it for you and u/l it to my web space and mediafire.

OT:- FWIW, Google has bought Virus Total.

Cheers

in all seriousness, you could report to them that both Google Chrome and Internet Explorer refuse to download their software and flagging it as malicious download... You would think they would want to know that and fix it asap :-).

I will try with Firefox next.

i just tried it in shell and worked fine? Maybe your ISP cached bad download?

I get the problem with most of the versions...it is updated frequently. PA always manages to fix it without any probs so it is not a big issue.

The software does cause issues with security software, but it is a collection of brilliant utilities and does warrant a look.

Thanks

does this 02 version work for you or?

if it does, it might be the issue between your ISP and theirs. And PA repair tool being able to correct the error that happens during download...

If 02 version does work for you as well, next time it does not, upload it to something and send us a link....

Hi,

The 02 version does not work for me. I get a CRC error as soon as I start extracting the contents.

Thanks
