edit profile

Why can't I edite my profile .
I can't access to My user control Panel, it says that I don't have permission for that
Thanks!

you are in moderated user group... editing profile is not allowed due to spammers using it to post links to their website...

Same problem

I have just registered and have the same problem. Does it mean that I will never be able to edit my profile, or this is just for now, yet I am a newcomer? Thanks.

spam

Is dropping a link in your profile really spam? Spam by definition is Unsolicited commercial email. (Wikpedia: Spam Is to send unsolicited bulk messages indiscriminately.) I realize that you may not want your database flooded by people that don't participate so you should limit the ease of registration but don't call it spam, that's not what it is. I run several blogs and if someone wants to drop a link for contributing they should be able to. I think some webmasters get confused by what spam actually is.
Just my opinion

This is a very straightforward forum. If you're a PowerArchiver user, you should find your way around with ease.
Any solicitations will be treated as Spam and users will be permanently banned.

Now, lets get to some good posts going :) Report some bugs!! :)

if your whole point of registering here is to "drop the link" to your site, then yes, it is spam ;-).

now if you participate in forums and genuinly use our software, then we dont care.

Makes perfect sense. You should activate no-follow and you wont ever have that problem.
