XP/Solaris
 

I'm interested to know if Power Archiver is capable of creating a tape archives (.tar files) on a Windows XP system, so they can be written to tape and later viewed on a Sun Solaris system. I have heard of other applications that can create .tar archives and write directly to tape (WinTAR-SCSI), but users have had problems reading the contents of the archives on Solaris systems.
