9.5 Skins under 9.6 & Skin Request

Is it not possible to use 9.5 SKN files under 9.6?

The new skin engine is nice but performance wise, I prefer the more simple skins such as Longhorn for 9.5.

Skin authors: Here is a request for something simple and clean. No sound effects or rollups. I just want to unzip my files :)

Small file size + clean images. The basics.
